Keeping Your Child Safe
![]()
At Woodlands, the safety and wellbeing of our pupils is our highest priority. We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and expect all staff, governors, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment.
We work hard to provide a safe, caring and inclusive environment where children feel happy, valued and listened to. Our safeguarding procedures are in line with current legislation and statutory guidance, including Keeping Children Safe in Education.
All staff and volunteers are trained to recognise the signs of abuse and neglect and know how to report concerns. We work closely with parents, carers and external agencies to ensure that children receive the right support at the right time.
If you have any concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing, please contact the school and ask to speak to our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
Should you have any concerns, please speak to one of the Safeguarding Officers at Woodlands:
Miss R Woode - Designated Safeguarding Lead
Miss C Watts - Deputy DSL
Miss E Day - Deputy DSL
Miss K Islam - Deputy DSL

Visitors to the school are asked to follow our safeguarding procedures:
